Networking…just the thought of it leaves people with a feeling of dread, especially if they have been down on their luck or are out of a job. Too often the negativity or shyness people feel about networking creates a self fulfilling prophecy of doom. The good news is it doesn’t have to be that way! Professional coach, facilitator and trainer Tammy Gooler Loeb will lead an interactive forum that explores some of the most effective ways to access your networks and uncover the information you need to be successful in a job search or other professional pursuits. Participants will leave the session with inspiration, new ideas and approaches to getting the connections and information they seek. Resource lists and templates for making the process smoother will be provided.
The forum will be held at the Newton Free Library on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:30 pm.
