Slow Down & Warm Up - Kripalu Yoga for Winter Are you feeling spacey, revved-up and a bit stressed? Are you having trouble settling down? Are you experiencing some sleeplessness? If so, then join us for weekly yoga! These classes combine postures, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation techniques to help you feel warm and soothed. The sequence is designed to focus on strengthening and lengthening the hips, legs and feet; areas that when warmed by movement help you to feel more clear headed, grounded and peaceful. Classes are 75 minutes long and students new to yoga are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring your own yoga mat, 2 blocks, a yoga strap, a bolster and a yoga blanket.* The instructor, Carol, is a long time yoga practitioner and a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher.
