Where the book “candidates” came from:

During the summer of 2019 Bruins summer visits to Andover, Bourne, Braintree, East Longmeadow, Easthampton, Lawrence, Marshfield, Martha’s Vineyard, Melrose, Millbury, Pittsfield, Princeton, and Sheffield, we asked kids to tell us what their favorite book is.  We got hundreds of responses and put them into a comprehensive list. The candidate books came from that list with a few librarian recommendations. Kids will also have the option to write in their book candidate.
