Encyclopædia Britannica

The largest, most comprehensive encyclopedia in the world. This Public Library Edition includes World Data Analyst, 4,000 videos, 34,000 images, links to 80,000 approved quality web sites, the Merriam Webster's Dictionary and Merriam Webster's Dictionary of Quotations. The Public Library Kids' Edition is also available.

Or, try the Britannica Online School Edition, which has separate elementary, middle and high school levels, and includes a world atlas, timelines, country comparisons, and many other features.
