🌟🐾During the MBLC`s October Board Meeting, Lt. Sandy Picard and Oliver the therapy dog were honored as Summer Reading Champions! 📚🏆
Since 2019, Sandy and Ollie have been visiting libraries all across the Commonwealth with the MBLC and @NHLBoston to encourage kids to read over the summer and spreading joy. Over the years, thousands of kids have overcome their fear of reading aloud by reading stories to Oliver, who always listens without judgement. ❤️Thank you, Sandy and Oliver for being such an invaluable part of our summer reading team!

💬“The idea of physically entering a courthouse for any reason can feel intimidating,” said Maureen Amyot, Director of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioner (MBLC). “Transportation issues, work hours, or lack of internet at home can also be barriers. The Access to Justice project helps people overcome those hurdles and get the help they need right in their own communities.”
