Registrants will receive a link to access the Zoom Webinar via email.* Join Professor Elena Conis, author of Vaccine Nation: America's Changing Relationship with Immunization and Acting Dean of UC Berkeley’s School of Journalism, for a discussion about measles and the modern history of vaccination in the United States. She’ll be joined by Hillary Johnson, MHS, Senior Epidemiology Advisor to Local Health for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, who’ll discuss what measles is and how we track it today. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Louis Fazen, III, MPH, pediatrician and founder of the Global Health Committee at the Massachusetts Medical Society, former faculty member at UMass Chan Medical School, and a local Board of Health chairperson, along with Scott Podolsky, MD, Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Center for the History of Medicine at the Countway Library.
