The Friends of the Gleason Public Library (FOGPL) are holding their annual Book Swap on Saturday, June 21 as part of Carlisle's Old Home Day festivities. All books are free, however the Friends welcome donations to support Library programming (click here to donate online via Paypal or Venmo @friends_22bedford) The Book Swap will be held on the Library Lawn from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the Book Swap will be held inside the Library beginning at 10 a.m. This Book Swap will feature adult fiction and all genres of children's and teen books. Donations will only be accepted during designated drop-off hours: Tuesday, June 17th, 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 18th, 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 20th, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please note that the Library is closed on Thursday, June 19th, in observation of Juneteenth.
