This back-to-school season, join Alexis Reid, author, educator, educational therapist, and learning consultant, for a conversation about the skills and strengths that help students learn, grow, and thrive.Whether you work with students, care for them, or are a learner yourself, this talk offers practical insight into the skills needed to organize, prioritize, focus, and persist, including how emotions and self-regulation shape learning. Discover ways to nurture these important skills at home, in the classroom, and beyond. About Alexis: Alexis Reid is an educator, educational therapist, and learning consultant in private practice (Reid Connect, LLC) in Boston & Falmouth (Cape Cod) MA, USA, adjunct professor, educator, author, and CAST UDL Faculty member.  She specializes in executive function (EF), social-emotional learning (SEL), and positive youth development (PYD), as well as in designing flexible and accessible learning environments through Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Working across settings, Alexis supports individuals and systems at the intersections of learning and well-being through a holistic, neuro-developmental approach. Alexis holds a B.A. in Education from Loyola University in Baltimore and a M.A. in Applied Developmental & Educational Psychology.  Alexis is the co-author with Lisa Carey of Supporting Executive Functions: Insights & Strategies for Educators (2024) and she and her brother, Dr. Gerald Reid also co-host a podcast, Reid Connect-ED on performance, wellbeing, learning, executive function, psychology, and so much more. @AlexisAnnReid (Instagram)
