Kids ages 0-18 can read (or be read to) for fun, for school, and for prizes. Just sign up in the Children's Room between today and August 16th, get your reading log, and get reading. Read what you want when you want and where you can. Just make sure that you fill out your reading log. Every hour read is a reading goal reached. The first three reading goals can be awarded with a "treasure box" prize, a ticket to the Memorial Beach Book-a-Cruise event on August 13th, and a ticket for a free ice cream at the Post Summer Reading Program Ice Cream event on August 19th. Participants can also use their reading goal achievements to enter a raffle for the chance to receive an additional prize featured in the Display Case by the stairs.
