Opposites Attract: Lenox Student Art Show

Lenox students are invited to explore contradictions and affinities such as black and white, yin and yang, and the irresistible force versus the immovable object. Contrast is one of the fundamental principles in art. Without contrast, everything in a world of art would be the same. Jenn Nacht and Rebecca Daly of the Lenox Chamber of Commerce will co-chair. Karen Romeo-Leger and Alexa Bermudez, teachers from Lenox Memorial Middle and High School, will present the theme to their students. The project will culminate in an art show in the Lenox Library’s Welles Gallery from May 16-26, 2025. Three scholarship awards will be given to Senior students, chosen by a panel of jurors, for works that demonstrate artistic literacy and creative expression.
