Frank Baum. Wizard of Oz introduces audiences to the comic duo, “Lenny and Mabel,” who lead us down the Yellow Brick Road to the land of Oz, meeting all of your favorite characters along the way. Gain courage with the Cowardly Lion, take heart with the Tin Man, and Find your wits with the Scarecrow in this fun interactive retelling. Seen by audiences across America, Wizard of Oz has become an audience favorite Bright Star production which is appreciated by audiences pre-K to adult. Alice in Wonderland - The Lewis Carroll literary classic is magically brought to life in this 45minute adventure. Join Alice on her journey into the rabbit hole, packed with some eccentric and fantastical character who take your audience on an imaginative ride. Since 1865 this literary classic has been a favorite among young readers and we can’t wait to bring it to life. Join the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and Alice on this adventure in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland is best appreciated by audiences in grades Pre-K and higher. Each year, Bright Star Touring Theatre serves nearly 2,000 audiences in schools, theaters, libraries, museums and more across the country. They offer a wide variety of curriculum-based programs ranging from The Lady of Bullyburg to Heroes of the Underground Railroad. “We travel with everything we need and we can perform just about anywhere,” says Casting Director Emily Hubbard. “Our actors join us from all over the country and they sometimes visit ten different cities each week, playing a huge variety of characters. It’s a great way for them to flex their acting muscles!” The company performs regularly at the National Theatre in Washington, DC and has gained international attention, having visited Russia and Germany with their productions.
