Give them a fresh, creative twist with simple botanical embroidery! In this hands-on workshop, youâll learn how to revive and personalize your garments with easy hand embroidery â no sewing experience required. If you can thread a needle, you can do this! Weâll be working with water-soluble embroidery patches featuring botanical designs. After selecting and sticking your design onto your clothing, youâll stitch directly over it. When you're done, the patch dissolves in water, leaving behind your beautiful, custom embroidery. This technique looks especially striking on denim jackets, jean hems, or pockets. đ What to Bring An article of clothing to embroider on (denim jackets, jeans, twill pants, or skirts work best) Small scissors Reading glasses (if you use them) â We Provide Embroidery design (pre-printed on water-soluble stabilizer) Hand sewing needles and embroidery floss đĽ Who Can Join?
