Join us for the finale of Goodnow Library's Fall Concert Series featuring classical guitarist Francesco Barone.  Classical Guitarist Francesco Barone will present a recital including music from the standard classical guitar repertoire. Background information will be given on all the pieces being performed and the recital is open to audiences of all ages. The feature piece will be Andrea Clearfield’s Reflections on the Dranyen. Clearfield is a living female composer whose piece is inspired by and seeks to imitate the Tibetan dranyen.   "Francesco Barone played with deep sensitivity, commitment and expressivity. He has a special gift for attention to musical color and subtle details in the score..." --Andrea Clearfield, Composer and 'Andrea's Music Salon' curator Award winning guitarist Francesco Barone has performed throughout the United States as a soloist and chamber musician. He has been presented at guitar festivals and societies in New England including the Boston Classical Guitar Society, Connecticut Guitar Society, New England Guitar Society and Hartt School Guitar Festival. He has also performed nationally through the classical music startup Groupmuse.  Dr. Barone was a prizewinner in the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Guitar Competition, was featured on a La Bella Strings sponsored concert and has had performances broadcasted on NPR. He received a DMA and MM from The Hartt School, University of Hartford where he studied with Richard Provost.
